1996. – He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education in Belgrade
2010. – He defended his master’s thesis at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niš
2014. – He defended his doctoral dissertation and obtained an academic title of PhD in Physical Culture at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Niš
1998-2008. – He was lecturer at the Sports Academy in Belgrade, on the subject „Theory and Methods of Martial Sports“
2016. - He is in the position of lecturer with the title of assistant professor at the Faculty of Sport „Union-Nikola Tesla“ in Belgrade

He is an author and co-author of a number of papers in the field of sports.
Engagement in sport:
1974-1995. He is a multiple champion of the SFRY in judo in all age categories and multiple champion of the Balkans, winner of bronze medal at the team championship of Europe, silver medal at the European Championship, bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games, parcipant of the Olympic Games in Seoul. He holds black belt, 7th Dan.
