On January 21, the delegation met with the Hungarian Minister of Construction and Transport, János Lázár, who assessed that, under current conditions, the railway could be opened for freight traffic by the end of February and for passenger traffic by the end of March.
Minister Sofronijević emphasized that, at the meeting held on January 22 led by Deputy Minister of Construction and Transport Nándor Csepreghy, special attention was paid to final activities, as well as to specific technical details related to the connection of the two railway systems.
Both sides agreed that this project is of exceptional importance to our countries, as well as for the region as a whole.
