MEETING BETWEEN AMBASSADOR ĐUROVIĆ AND CEO OF MVM GROUP | Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Hungary

H.E. Ambassador Aleksandra Đurović met with Mátrai Károly, CEO of the MVM Group, at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Budapest on October 30, 2025.

The CEO of the MVM Group emphasized the importance of the Republic of Serbia as a strategic partner of Hungary.It was assessed that the recent acquisition of a majority stake by MVM Group in the companies Energotehnika Južna Bačka and Elektromontaža Kraljevo represents example of successful and intensive cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary in the field of energy.During the meeting, numerous opportunities for further improving energy cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the MVM Group were also discussed.The conclusion was reiterated that there is no energy security of Hungary without Serbia, nor energy security of Serbia without Hungary.
