The 14th session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary was held in Budapest on October 7 and 8, chaired by the Minister for Domestic and Foreign Trade Tomislav Momirović from the Serbian side and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó from the Hungarian side. A Hungarian-Serbian business forum was also held, attended by a large number of businessmen from Serbia.
During the session of the Joint Commission, issues from numerous areas were considered, among others, economic cooperation, infrastructure, transport, regional and cross-border cooperation, energy, education, tourism. Several agreements were signed, of which the most important is the agreement on the establishment of "Green Corridors" which will accelerate the transport of people and goods on the Serbian-Hungarian border crossing.
Ministers T. Momirović and P. Szijjártó pointed out that the signed agreements will further improve economic cooperation, trade, energy stability of the two countries and the implementation of infrastructure projects.
On the occasion of the 14th session of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary, a reception was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia.
